Dr.
Gregory Harvey brings to his clinic impeccable qualifications.
A native San Diegan, he is the son of a chiropractor, although
he did not inherit the practice. Rather, he built it himself from
the ground up, with Thomas Edison's vision
in mind.
After undergraduate
studies at UCSD and SDSU, he attended Life Chiropractic College
West in the Bay area. There he earned top honors, setting straight
records at the school's clinic, while actively teaching during
the final two years of his eight-year higher education.
Moving to
Encinitas in 1984, he designed and built a building in the Santa
Fe Business Park to house the New Life Chiropractic Clinic. Later,
he relocated to Solana Beach, where NLCC has grown to become the
largest chiropractic clinic in the area. A much sought-after speaker
on computerized diagnostic and adjustment techniques, Dr. Harvey
has addressed seminars and conventions all over the United States.
In 1985 Dr. Harvey received worldwide recognition for co-developing
system software for diagnosing spinal misalignment. He was invited
by the Korean government to bring his computer to that country,
where he helped set up Korea's first chiropractic clinic. Later,
he was honored by the Korean government's invitation to minister
to its athletes in the 1988 Summer Olympic Games.
Dr. Harvey
is a tireless crusader against the myths and misinformation that
have traditionally undermined the credibility of chiropractic,
and stresses patient education as an integral part of the wellness
process.
Summing
up his career vision, he states: "I intend to be one of the
forerunners
in repositioning chiropractic to its rightful place in the healthcare
profession. I want to help establish our profession as the highly
educated art form that it is."
