the Publisher:
VE-LA
Publications was formed in January 2002, in response to the
need for timely, accurate and comprehensive information about the
Latin American venture capital, private equity and project finance
industries.
Venture
Equity Latin America, the flagship newsletter, debuted on February
4, 2002. Other products to be available soon include a directory
of fund managers and a mid-year fundraising report. Individualized
research is available as well, please contact us.
The
Editors:
Holly Johnson, publisher and editor, has been writing about the
Latin American private equity industry since 1997. Prior to that,
she was a freelance journalist in Boston and Santiago, writing for
publications such as TIME and Business Week Magazines, Business
Latin America and the Bureau of National Affairs. Ms. Johnson lived
in Chile for 11 years and has traveled extensively in the region.
She is fluent in English and Spanish. She holds a bachelor's degree
from Tufts University and completed a master's program in International
Studies at the Universidad de Chile.
Ruth
Bradley did her first degree in history at Oxford University and
went on to do post-graduate Economics. She has lived in South America
since the mid-1970s and is currently based in Santiago where, as
well as writing for VE-LA Publications, she is the correspondent
for a number of other international publications, including The
Economist.
Venture
Equity Latin America is published in Alameda, California. If
